2008 and Its Biggest Musical Releases

Whew, 2008 should be a warning to all the other artist planning an album release this year. Why? Because the most formidable names in the music industry are all going to unleash their records and I can see neck-to-neck battle in the Pop Charts in both album and singles. It feels like a reunion of the class' Most Popular Students...i'm excited for the homecoming.

Here are the list of the BEST and Highly-Anticipated released and unreleased albums of 2008 to look out for:

Janet Jackson: Discipline February 26

Debuting at #1 on Billboard's Top 200 Charts, Discipline has stripped off the e
arlier lackluster performance of her previous efforts (Damita Jo and 20 Y.O). Feedback, the first single peaked at #18 on the Hot 100 earning her again yet another top 20 hit, It's a club Must-Have!

Mariah Carey: E=MC2 April 15

The follow-up to 2005's Mega-Selling
comeback album The Emancipation of Mimi, which sold over 10 Million copies worldwide and yielded 2 # 1 hits. The first single, "Touch My Body", is simply a Guilty Pleasure to all the hotbabes out there and for the lads, a serious tease...

Madonna: Hard Candy April 29
With productions from Timbaland and The Neptunes, Her 11th studio release is a fusion of urban vibes and hiphop beaters and what to expect? Yep, U Know it...The first single "4 Minutes" is poised to top the charts as soon as it sets loose in the music playground... Ready for Car Stereo Boosters and Amplifiers, beware!

Usher: Here I Stand May 27

Eversince "Love in this Club" has been leaked intentionally through digital download, it immediately leaped towards #1 spot. Surely, many fans based thi
s upcoming effort to his last one which was Confessions...I hope it has the same songs that made the last One a predictable Pop success.

Nelly: Brass Knuckles June (No official date yet)

Dont we miss Nelly? Yes we did, No other rappers could match Nelly's mass appeal and music quality in terms of getting you the last song syndrome illness and club-witty bouncing behavior everytime the dj spins the wheel. ...Yep, Im ready for this sh** right here.

As a music fan, Im excited to see these icons collide in chart performance and sound quality which will give us many first-class options to listen and sing through...if I missed anyone please do comment...

Leona Lewis and Her Bleeding Love

Leona Lewis Bleeding HeartLadies and Gentlemen, Leona Lewis has just made history after her single "Bleeding Love" skyrockets into the top spot of the US Hot 100 Chart. The last time a British female artist has been was 20 years ago after Kim Wilde in 1987, with her cover of the Supremes' "You Keep Me Hangin' On"
A former receptionist, Leona broke through the music scene after winning The X Factor (UK version of American Idol) and the success was unstoppable; Bleeding Love is UK's Best-Selling Single of 2007, also her Debut Album "Spirit" was the fastest-selling debut album of all time in the UK, and now being the first female UK artist to reach #1 in Billboard's 21st Century countdown (what more could she ask for?)

About the Song: Bleeding Love is definately catchy, it has reminiscent elements from Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares" and Timbaland's Juicy drum beats on Nelly Furtado's "Say it right", and of course the Whitney-ish voice that made this song a formidable pop concoction.

American Idol's Michael Jonhs and Carly Smithson

It has been an institution for bore-proof entertainment not only in America but worldwide as well. Who would resist the colorful twist of competing (frustrated) contestants? critics from that 'brutal' judge Cowell, and the sense of belonging knowing 30 Million across the country are also watching it? American Idol has transcended into a powerful medium uniting people through its massive viewership, which means, that this show is really something.

Currently I have two favorites who didn't disappoint me from the day I put my money on them since Audition day...

Michael Johns' performance of Bohemian Rhapsody sheds my skin away, whoa! fantastic. He dont need snappy suits or props for the competition, He has the most dangerous weapon of all; voice.

Future Artist/ Band Version: Train, Queen, LifeHouse, Seal, Sting

I agree with Paula saying She's a dependable dog, every performance was a total K.O. From the moment she sang "I'm every woman' on her audition day, I'm sure I'm seeing this season's Winner. Favorite Song Choice: I Drove All Night

Future Artist/ Band Version: Evanescence, Kelly Clarkson, Cyndi Lauper

I'm a deep observant viewer and I don't settle for good looks or mass appeal, I can see through real talent and I think you're seeing them too...

10,000 BC - A Quick Review

10,000 BCOne word: Fantastic. The graphics, the scenes, and the story line achieved such amazing result which is:10,000 BC. I wont brag much about the details because I still don't have an insurance (in case i get killed by spilling spoilers) but I have to tell you DO NOT miss this epic-journey.

The film is neither complex or simple but you'll feel satisfied going out the cinema and will immediately refer it to friends (like what i'm doing now).
Preview: Tribesmen are being kidnapped away from their lands and forced to work as a slave to build "majestic egypt-like structures". You complete the story yourself at cinemas. Enjoy.
