10 Best Anime TV Shows of All Time

I'm definitely a Kid at heart, given that, Anime, like most kids, has penetrated my mind like an unstoppable airborne virus; suddenly I wish I could summon fires, time travel, fight troublesome robots, Be a master thief, ninja, a top-notch chef, or be in a quest finding legendary objects...these days are over but it still feels very good reminiscing the memories of these adventures...

1. Naruto

Of course, everybody watches this killer anime. It's perfect in every aspect: story, casts, plot, graphics. What I liked about it is the fine execution of cool historical background for every clan.

Fave Character: Sasori, Shino, Tsunade

2.. BT'X

Before Naruto, BT'X is my most favorite Anime. The cyborgs are fantastic and quite believable. I like the four Spirit Generals and their Bt's (robots). The Adventure is simple but fully loaded with good twists and action.

Fave Character: : BT J'etaime, Fou Rafine, BT Max, Teppei

3. Time Quest

Hilarious. This is the first Funny-themed anime me and my whole family are hooked into. The escapades are so funny there was a time I got stomach ache by laughing so hard by this one episode. I am constantly looking for DVD of it but so far no luck.

Fave Character: Abdula, Prince Daniel, Henry, and that "Kettle"

4. Flame of Recca

Ninjas, Dragons, Fires, and amazing weapons. What a combination. I don't like much the main character for he was stubbornly hot-tempered but the seven fire dragons caught my imagination. It would be awesome to have and control them...I wish.

Fave Character: The Seven Dragons, Dilan, and Kurei

5. Gundam Wing

This was the era of tech-anime on its prime and definitely The GunDam Franchise head fronts the saga. I remember an instance where I hoped for the teacher to end the class, for the shows time slot was after school. There are no more kids playing in the field; they ran straight home just to watch this Madness.

Fave Character: Japan Gundam

6. Lupin III

The Master of all Thief, Lupin's adventures are watched by both children and adults. The theme is sophisticated, mixed with hilarious twists. It feels really entertaining trying to help Lupin devise a plan or technique on how to steal certain stuff.

Fave Character: Lupin, Fujiko, Detective Guy

7. Hunter X Hunter

Pity this was SO short. The characters are quite similar from "Ghost Fighter" but the story is a mile good compared with the latter. I like the revenge-theme story and the pathway to be strong in order to fulfill one's mission.

Fave Character: Kurapika, Gon

8.Dragon Balls

The never ending story version of Japan. Why? the story had been stretched for too long that the magic of the 1st 3 seasons are stripped off. I like the first seasons where Gohan is still young (and the plot and characters are believable). I wish I had the stretch stick though.

Fave Character: Vegeta, Gohan

9. Mojacko

Light and funny, this is perfect show for those boring afternoon times. The escapades are crafted to crack even the most boring kids and adults to laugh.

Fave Character: Momonja, Mojari, and Mojacko

10. Yakitate Japan

First Cooking Anime I was hooked to watch every episode. Genius plot plus very informative concepts about food and ingredients. Cool series.

Fave Character:
The Recipes

How FaceBook Ate Social Networking (And Everybody's) Lunch

I've just stumbled upon this Alexa Blog and was surprised to know that on April 19 2008, FaceBook overtook MySpace as the number 1 social network in the Net. According to Alexa Ranking, Facebook has been steadily increasing reach while Myspace has been treading water.

Over the course of the last 8 months facebook has seen its unique visitors double, growing its reach from 4% in September of last year to 8% today... an impressive achievement by any measure.

Personally, I think FaceBook is alot more complicated than MySpace, In Asia Friendster rulz...anyways, congrats to FaceBook. To MySpace, you need to shake something in your system coz it’s stagnating...

David Cook Wins American Idol 2008

David Cook: A Win Beneath his Wings...
Well, I guess America isn't as predictable as I've thought before. I stated in my bet (on my recent post) that Archuleta would win but Cook will have a brighter career. Well, It only proves I suck at forecasting; David Cook Won as what I wrote some weeks before when two of my original Bets (Carly and Michael) were voted off. In the end, I still have the "eye" for genuine talent as Cook's winning destiny just proved that. I was surprised by the outcome, Maybe America has learned its lesson after voting only for appeal and not for real-talent. I'm sure everyone enjoyed the twist and turns of this years' Idol spin...

For David Archuleta, don't worry, I'm sure Disney and Nickelodeon will stunt a fight over signing you as their newest superteen sensation, so for those heartbroken teenage fans: Be Relieved...no loss there.

Two Davids at the American Idol

This is the first time ever in American Idol that two people share the same name in the final two. David's Archuletta and Cook will battle for the finale this Wednesday and I bet everyone's got a winner. Well, me too, so I weighed the odds...

David Archuleta:

This young lad's strength is on ballads, but he
looked awkward on more upbeat songs, I think he will win this year's American Idol because of the million votes from all the squealing girls across America, who are tired of Zac Efron and the likes...

David Cook:The Rocker on the bunch got the voice, the rocker looks, and the genuine recording artist quality. I think that even if he didn't win, he will have a brighter future in the music industry (like non-winner Chris Daughtry). He has more versatility and singing prowess than Archuleta but the votes will kill this Kudos.

This is just an opinion and If I did offend a fan, well it's not my fault, this is a free country...I think even Obama and Clinton will have a cease fire on wednesday:
Overall, The seventh season has been Fun and a rewarding watch, looking forward for next year...

Music's Freshest Hits

Radios are excited about them, Fans gets heated up, Movies are eyeing for a potential soundtrack, and the Grammy's are keeping a close eye. The Latest Hits have arrived at last and here are the entries so far and expect them to hover on speakers over the next few weeks...

1. Rihanna -Take A Bow

This will be the backing single for the reissue album Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded due in July.

About the Song: It sounds like her massive hit Umbrella with a slower jam, the hooks are catchy, the lyrics resentful for cheating partner, and the tune gets better in every listen, and hey, it's currently number 1 in America jumping 52 positions to the top spot.

2. Coldplay -Violet Hills

1st single from the Band's fourth album "Viva La Vida", violet hills sure sounds good to ears.

About the Song: Still with that trademark piano melancholy and airy vocals from Martin, the song is perfect for those sing-alones moments.

3. Jesse McCartney -Leavin'

Debuting at number 12, Leavin' is the first track off McCartney's third album "Departure" which is due next month.

About the Song: Co-written with One Republic, the song is bouncy, catchy with that "silly" line "G5, G5" and incorporating RnB melodies that can stand the test of repeated airplays.

4. Mariah Carey -Bye Bye

After the 18th number 1 song 'Touch my Body", Carey's second single might be saying goodbye to competitors the 19th time soon.

About the Song: This for my people who just lost somebody...the message is universal and the song reflects that longing to those loved ones we lost. It's soft pop blended with hip-hop background vocals that will make any trip breezy.

5. Chris Brown -Forever

Third single from the already platinum "Exclusive" disc, Brown's third single is rather a disappointment owing to the quality of "With You"

About the Song: Sounds like Timberlake's "Sexy Back" and Spear's "Gimme More", the song gets tired after three plays and Brown's voice sounds awkward behind the synthetics.

6. Madonna -Give it 2 me

Pharrel-produced track is set to conquer radio airwaves as Madonna's second single off Hard Candy gets loose.

About the Song: Its like those songs played in Carnivals with a hip-hop jive, lots of strings, drums, and madonna murmuring about getting the bass line done with Pharrel morphing confidently in the backgrounds.

Typhoons Cosme and Dindo

Times have really changed, only last summer this very date I was cursing Summer for being so hot, but now I regret it. Typhoons seem to be excited for the rainy days that they have filed for an advance appearance- To our cost. After several flash floods, soil erosions, and infrastructure havoc, it will just just get worse.
Sorry ZTE Deal or NFA Rice crisis, New Stars are born, please welcome Typhoon Dondi and Cosme. Each has strong winds and heavy rains and they are very Depressed of the Situation right now. I wonder what’s the Government's critic on these two contenders stealing the controversies around.

10 Best Pop Albums of the Decade

Pop Music, as many would dismiss, as only for teenyboppers or shallow type of music fans, has, in fact, shaped the music industry none like any Genre has ever done, and to commemorate its success, I have compiled the most-listened Pop Albums of the last decade. Remember that Pop is just one of my prefered music but i'm very much listening to all Genres therein so don't judge by album covers...

1. Avril Lavigne Let Go 2002

With infectious hits like Complicated, Sk8er Boi, and I'm with you, the album has gone to sell 4 million copies in the US alone.

Fave Track: Anything But Ordinary

2. Linkin Park Hybrid Theory 2000

Fusing Metal and HipHop beats in a rock song? Its not that impossible, The Band has started it all with hits after hits including In the End and Crawlin.

Fave Track: My December

3. Britney Spears Ooops...I did it Again 2000

This is Spears on her Prime, Radio airplays and eye-popping video hits, Ooops, 9 Million Cd's across America there.

Fave Track: (Can't Get) Satisfaction

4. Michelle Branch Spirit Room 2001

This is the Pop-Rock CD that you won't get tired of listening over and over again. Standout hits are Everywhere, All You wanted, and that infectious Goodbye to You song.

Fave Track: Drop in the Ocean

5. Creed Human Clay 1999

I simply love the band's music; apocalyptic and catchy. Seriously perfect for rainy days and the song "With Arms Wide Open" is just one step away of summoning Hurricanes.

Fave Track: Higher

6. Vertical Horizon Everything You Want 1999

What sets Vertical Horizon apart from other bands is the honesty in songwriting. It is sad yet satisfying for those EMO-days we had.

Fave Track: You're a God

7. Madonna Ray of Light 1997

The album is Weird Pop composed by theatrical orchestras, sonic waves, strings and mediocre melodies, but definitely a worth listen.

Fave Track: Ray of Light

8. John Mayer Room for Squares 2001

Before Mayer went into the Adult Contemporary Pop genre, he was Pop's cheesiest Lad of the time. Your body is a wonderland was a massive hit around the world and guess what? so as the album.

Fave Track: Back to You

9. N'SYNC No Strings Attached 2000

Still holding the title for the Biggest 1st week Album Sales of all time, N'SYNC's No Strings Attached has sold over 2.4 Million copies on its full seven-days scale

Fave Track: Bye Bye

10. Maroon 5 Songs about Jane 2002

Funky Rock as they call it, this is the kind of music that will make you sing-along while maintaining integrity on Rock attitude, I think Maroon 5 has settled that score.

Fave Track: Must get out

Soccer on the Wall

Soccer is considered the hottest sport in the planet, I agree but I think the media has overexposed the Sport for their Marketing Gain. Soccer Stars are Signed to take off their shirts and pose for magazines, drink some cola while in the sport, endorsements for some lame TV Company and many more, can't they just concentrate with Soccer?
These wallpapers are exclusively available for soccer Fans (and Geeks).

Hogwarts Houses and Their Logos

Are you a Harry Potter Fan? What Area? Book, Movie, Author, or the Movie Characters? For me, I've always been fascinated with Hogwarts (not Potter, but thanks to him this wizarding school existed). I sometimes dream of having to board in this school and learn wizardry (lunacy, some called) and If ever given a chance, I wanna be in Ravenclaw. Well I guess its the only House not too comercialized (unlike Gryffindor, or Slytherin) and I honor Wisdom.

I thought these logo's are too cool to have in your t-shirt soon:

Bottom line: Potter's School Rocks!!!

It's Not Stomach Inferno, It's Hyperacidity

If you're feeling a sensation close to intense hunger even if you've just eaten 20 minutes ago, or the feeling that something inside your abdomens are burning, then welcome to the world of hyperacidity. I, myself is suffering from it and since water therapy and eating alot doesn't work anymore, I decided I need medication, and lucky for me, this medicine Kremil-S is widely available (and very cheap too), it taste like bubblegum and acts very fast, just 15 seconds and you're fine. Worldwide common brands of antacids includes: Zantac, Prevacid and Prilosec
Here are the some of the common causes of hyperacidity:

1. Consumption of maximum rich and spicy foods, bakery items
2. Stomach problems like ulcer
3. Overweight
4. Eating very fast without proper chewing
5. long sitting work, mental stress
6. Inappropriate sleep, and smoking

In my case, I think it's from my habit of including chilli to every meal I cook, I love spicy food but that was a long time ago, I have ceased consuming spices to my benefit. Minor percentage came from mental stress. Don't let this happen to you, act now before its too late...

Be SANE!

The Matrix Reloaded's Best Action Scene ... Ever!!!

I'm sure I'm not the only one CRAZY about The Matrix, the thing I like about the movie is the action stunts (and Keanu's Rayban) its so good you couldn't ask for more. Anyways, This is one of my favorite scenes in the 2nd installment and it comes in High Definition video so enjoy less than 3 minute's of jampacked action. (Trust me, you'll like it)

Coke Zero VS Pepsi Max

Which do you prefer? I'm not really into the Cola War bandwagon but since the two mega companies released same product that benefit consumers like us, so may the best cola wins...

* Flavor: I think Coca-Cola Zero won in this phase coz its exactly the same coke with the sugar, its magic how they stripped out the sugar content while staying true to its flavor, On the other hand, Pepsi Max has that obvious shift in flavor once it transformed into the Max No Sugar Platform.

* Packaging: Coca-cola again wins this title; the black, red, and white color encasing looked very sophisticated and powerful. Powerful in the sense that it appeals with quality, flavor, and attracting presence that even the non-cola drinkers would grab. Pepsi's blue and black looked exactly the same with other Pepsi product(without the word MAX)...

* Promotion: Pepsi Won by half a mile, with big names like Britney, David Beckham, Shakira and many more A-List names in entertainment industry, they can never go amiss by people (see print ads for details).

Miley Cyrus Gets Racy and It's News Now?

Britney or Lindsay's starting-career Image were perfect as Role Models for teens, seemingly innocent and behaved girls they were, then the coming of age arrived: Britney gets nasty over her videos and Lindsay went wild with alcohol and anorexia, not so desirable as role models anymore, I say. Then the High School musical era came and parents thought they have found a new role model for their kids in the form of Vanessa Anne Hudges, conservative and classy in her acts-until the photos of her nude psyche came flooding all over the net. It's Over. America seem to lose faith in all these girls.

But what about Miley Cyrus? The Hannah Montana Star seem nice and looks OK for teens to idolize, right? After the controversial Vanity Fair photoshoot (as seen below) this assumption seem to challenge America's longing for the Right One, again.
Dya think this One Shot could ruin it all again? for these girls having fun? For me this shot is just pure Art. Its like one of those Renaissance Shot made available for the 21st Century Boys (haha)
