One of the most significant signs whether an artist had broken in the most-competitive music industry in the world, the US, is that your song had been reviewed by top critics and published in a credible site. Most artists would dearly wanna see their song review published in the Billboard reviews corner but for Charice, she can definitely say she's made it:

Her song "Note to God" had its review to good remarks and most of the comments there compare her to Mariah, Celine, and Christina. What an achievement. You can read the review here:
Since wushu days are now over and I need a new activity to keep my energy running, I had decided a couple of activities I thought might pump the sh*t outta my boring after office hours:
1. Gym
2. Running
3. Continue wushu class
4. Enroll to Muay Thai
5. Change to Night Shift
But before I pick one, realized I needed something to keep my focus in and so it comes with a size of a match. No kidding, I'm talking about IPod shuffle's sheer brilliance.
I have trouble registering to apple store first because I didn't fill out the *state box simply because the Philippines is not categorized into states but regions. Frustration's running high before I realized non-US consumers have their allotted country sites and therefore make the purchase there (stupid me). I went into the apple Philippines store, used the credit card and after four days of anticipation (and getting to know ITunes), I am savoring the richness of the sound quality and the weightlessness of the little gadget. What I like the most is that there's a clip perfect for running or working out, no need for that messy armbands.
Mine was 1 GB 2nd generation silver and the best about ordering it online was you can get it engraved with your fave motto, name, proverbs, or even your cats name (mine was "shurikenlord"). Seeing the engraving made a big impact on my sense of individuality and so further my love for the IPod. Here's the site:
This baby costs only $49 (Php 2, 590)
Next to music, movie was my greatest escape. However, unlike charmed audience goggling on the main character, the hero, the prince (or princess), king, or the centre character, I set my eyes on the supporting characters. I have observed that those supporting cast with sarcastic approach and often irked to have anything to do with the main character's life always catches my attention. Their lines, witty humor, and annoyed persona cracks me for laugh and anticipation. So here they are and the reason why they made my list.
1. Lorna Scott as Janice- Wanted
She's the manager of the accounting firm where Gibson works. She's anorexic (gibson thought sarcastically) and an overbearing boss who likes to use the stapler every time she lectures our hero for unfinished billing reports.
Why I like her: She's so much fun to watch with her taunting gestures and her fat disposition irking the already irked hero.
Fave Line: "OMFG, I still don't have that billing report"
2. Jesse Eisenberg as Jimmy- Cursed
The brother of the accursed hottie Christina Ricci in Cursed, as a transferee, he was teased at the school and calls him "gay" by the school bullies (Milo from heroes). When he was bitten by a werewolf, his sex appeal for normal people intensify enough for the bully to come out of his closet.
Why I like him: He's always swearing badly in every situation imaginable. Not that I like rude people it’s just funny to watch a character going meltdown with pressure.
Fave Line: OK, I'm happy for you, go gay, unfortunately I've got my own shit to take care of."
3. Ian McKellen as Magneto- XMEN
I knew from the start that if ever I’ll get into Sky High (it’s a school for superheroes) i'll be in the villain's section. Magneto's convincing words and affection proved hard to resist to those mutants who are confused and lost (in my case delirious).
Why I like him: I love his realistic views on how Homo sapiens do not deserve to be in the upper position and also, his lines were among the finest in the sarcastic society.
Fave Line: (When Jean Grey and Cyclops meets in the tunnel) "This is one lovers' quarrel we cannot get involved in, my dear."
4. Villain Actor Cats- Bolt
Smart, witty, and absolutely ridanculous, these villain cats are among the smartest representation of the feline family in the big screen.
Why I like them: Funny funny lines, awesome performance, and of course, living to the cats supremacy status quo.
Fave Line(s):
"The green eyed man has a plan and soon he will execute it".
"You may have won today bolt but soon, we will get your little penny"
"Yeah, and then he will (LONG PAUSE)...execute.....her"
"I have been working on my evil laugh"
5. Chiaki Kuriyama as Gogo Yubari- Kill Bill Vol 1
As what the Bride says on her intro: What she lacks in age, she makes up for in madness.
She may look like your average Japanese school girl until she gets that sword and twist it into your stomach. I would love to hear her more on Kill Bill but unfortunately, its supporting casts' main con; limited scenes.
Why I like her: She's kick-ass, bad bad bad girl
Fave Line: (laughs): "You call that begging? You can beg better than that."
6. Kenan Thompson as Troy- Snakes on a Plane
Fat and Funny, Troy likes to play computers and when the airplane he was ridding had its pilot "snaking", he was the only one left to be the pilot, and so he did with amusement.
Why I like him: He's cool.
Fave Line: (piloting the plane) "Wassup! Wassup! What it is? What it is? This is your new pilot Troy speaking! And sittin' next to me is my brother from another mother! The biggest pimp that I know! Superfly Agent Flynn!... Agent Neville Flynn!"
